Black Diamond Structures rolled out its latest nanotechnology product offering for Lithium-ion batteries at the single largest and most comprehensive battery exhibition in the world, the China International Battery Fair 2018, in Shenzhen, China on May 22-24.

Highlighting recent advancements in Black Diamond’s battery technology, MOLECULAR REBAR nanomaterials, Dr. Vinay Bhat, presented evidence of the compelling results in Li battery performance when Molecular Rebar is added into the into the Si/Gr anode slurry making process. Black Diamond Structures’ innovative carbon nanotube technology was on display at The Innovation to Impact Forum, an annual event hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) showcasing new technologies, innovations and technical industry/academic collaborations.

This year’s MIT Forum was host to Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman who was joined by SABIC CEO and Vice-Chairman Yousef Al-Benyan to tour the exhibit and discussed technologies, solutions and innovations that will help advance Vision 2030, a blueprint for Saudi Arabia’s future. Black Diamond’s technology was part of a broad display of SABIC high tech innovations and products currently being developed.
