Black Diamond Structures presented recent data relating to its work in improving Lithium-ion batteries. The presentation was held at the NAATbatt annual meeting forum, Energy Storage Innovation Summit, in Indian Wells, California.
Dr. Jerzy Gazda, Black Diamond’s Technology Director, introduced product concentrates for binders based on the Black Diamond Structures’ MOLECULAR REBAR technology platform.
Dru Kefalos, Black Diamond’s Chief Marketing Officer, said the data provides remarkable evidence of the impact this product has for the lithium-ion industry. Commenting on the MOLECULAR REBAR technology, Kefalos stated, “There are a number of attributes relating to our technology for the energy storage industry and we are beginning customer trials in the lithium-ion market segment. There is considerable interest in our product and we are excited about the future in lithium-ion.”
